Glasstech became the supplier of glass awards for the ceremonial announcement of the Audiobook of the Year 2025 poll, now held for the fourteenth time by the Audiobook Publishers Association. The prestigious awards went to winners in ten categories, decided by two expert juries made up of twenty-four members, who evaluated a total of 124 entries submitted by 29 publishers.
The overall winner of the 2025 edition, and also Best Audiobook outside the categories, was the audio series Hovory (Conversations) by publisher Audioteka, a chilling adaptation of authentic phone calls made by Ukrainian citizens after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A special award for an outstanding contribution to audiobooks and the spoken word was received by actor and director Lukáš Hlavica.
Our glass trophies thus accompanied one of the most significant evenings in the Czech audiobook world and became a tangible reminder of the success of the honored creators, actors, and publishers.
